THE RACE OF GENTLEMEN 2014

It’s not in Allenhurst anymore. And that is a bummer for sure. But the Race of Gentlemen vintage motorcycle and automobile beach race is still in New Jersey. We can be thankful and prideful for that and remember that the first race was right here in our backyard.

TWO MOTO CO. POP UP SHOP THIS WEEKEND AT CAFE VOLAN

It’s hard not to rally behind a guy like Ocean Grove resident Seth Ferris, the Digital Art Director at Sawtooth in Red Bank. Ferris started Two Moto. Co. early last year in the D.I.Y. spirit that we always rally behind (see the complete collection at www.twomoto.co). Just a passionate guy in his apartment (the same 300 […]

OCEAN GROVE RESIDENT PHIL CAPOZZI’S 1970’S BSA

When it comes to vintage bikes scooting around the greater Asbury Park area, not too many are cooler than Ocean Grove resident Phil Capozzi’s 1970’s BSA. The bike is a true work of art. Every time I see it buzzing around town I get a little wet in the pants. Just saying. Phil’s BSA was even […]

THE RACE OF GENTLEMEN IN TWO MINUTES

If you missed the Second Annual Race of Gentlemen, which happened down in Wildwood, NJ on October 4th, 5th and 6th, here’s a little taste of what you missed. This short was put together by Scott G. Toepfer (other credits include one of our favorites “It’s Better in the Wind”. From what we’re hearing Scott is […]

HIGH SEAS, OPEN ROADS: FILM BY MIKE BOYLAN

What a night! The Anchor and Two Moto Co. put on one hell of a show this past Saturday night at Asbury Park Yacht Club on the boardwalk in New Jersey. Our High Seas, Open Roads moto helmet art show brought out like minded creative types and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the region. We had […]

THE ANCHOR HEADS TO BROOKLYN FOR THE DEUS MUNDAY MASS RIDE

Last night (Monday, July 22) would best be described as epic. Myself, Anchor contributor and owner of Two Moto Co. Seth Ferris and our wrenching and riding partner Jay Demaso took a road trip to New York to promote our upcoming helmet art show, High Seas, Open Roads and to support a moto and surf […]

PORTLAND’S HOLIDAY CUSTOMS DIG OCEAN GROVE’S TWO MOTO

Anchor contributor Seth Ferris’ motorcycle lifestyle business Two Moto Co. is starting to blow up a bit. Check out his online store here which features some pretty rad tees and crew neck sweatshirts with more items on the way. All well designed and reasonably priced.

WAYWARD BOUND: A FRIDAY EVENING IN NEW YORK

I ventured into New York Friday night for Wayward Bound, a launch party and motorcycle unveil for Hammarhead Motorcycles at The Ace Hotel’s Liberty Hall. The night was a good one. The bikes? Eh. Wasn’t impressed. Naturally, design is subjective. I just wasn’t feeling what I saw. All in all 3 custom Moto Guzzi bikes were on display from […]

JAY DEMASO’S 1973 HONDA CB750

Ocean Grove resident Jay Demaso loves motorcycles and surfing. When he’s not working long hours for his construction company in New York, Demaso can usually be found riding waves or roads.

GARY’S TRIUMPH

Asbury Park is home to a lot of great old motorcycles. This picture of a 60s or 70s era (we’re not sure the exact year of the bike) Triumph bobber was sent to us by local photographer Tom Berg. The bike is owned by downtown resident Gary James Mastriano II and was seen here on […]

BIKERS RETURN TO ASBURY AFTER STORM

I was walking through Asbury trying to survey and document the damage a few days after Hurricane Sandy hit. While making my way through the oceanfront, I came across these four bikers outside The Wonder Bar. Asbury Park used to be their place to hang out and ride motorcycles. They all live in different parts of […]

SETH FERRIS’ KITCHEN BUILT ’71 HONDA CB450

Not bad for a bike that was built in a fucking kitchen in Ocean Grove. A kitchen the size of your bathroom nonetheless. I’m not joking. Seth Ferris’ 1971 Honda CB450 started out as a shit green stock Honda. After riding around on the thing for almost a year, he decided it was time to […]

A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN JERSEY SHORE INFAMY

The first ever “Race of Gentlemen” is over. What a day it was. Quite frankly one of the best days in Jersey Shore history. At least in my 32 years on this god forsaken earth. Words can’t quite describe the scene that was saw down on the Allenhurst/Loch Arbour oceanfront, just north of Asbury Park.

RACE OF GENTLEMEN PRE PRE PARTY TONIGHT

The Race of Gentlemen vintage motorcycle and hot rod beach race set for Saturday (10/20) in Allenhurst and Loch Arbour is kicking things off early with a Pre Pre Party at 10th Ave. Burrito in Belmar at 8PM tonight (10/18). You heard it here and only here. So strap that helmet on and motor over to […]
