HIGH SEAS, OPEN ROADS: FILM BY MIKE BOYLAN

What a night! The Anchor and Two Moto Co. put on one hell of a show this past Saturday night at Asbury Park Yacht Club on the boardwalk in New Jersey. Our High Seas, Open Roads moto helmet art show brought out like minded creative types and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the region. We had a HUGE turnout with barely enough room to squeeze your ass through the crowd to get to the bar for another cold one.

The vibe in the room and out on the boards was perfect. People were stoked on all of the helmets. We sold every last one of them. We also sold a bunch of tees which were being printed live by Pop Up Prints (go to www.twomoto.co to get yours). Proceeds for the show are going to Waves 4 Water, an amazing charity that has been helping out around the the Jersey Shore after Sandy ripped us a new one.

Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, Birthwater took to the stage and tore the roof off the joint. Just an amazing night overall and I can’t wait until next year. We are already planning on something bigger and better.

Here is a video of the night by Anchor contributor and filmmaker Mike Boylan who captured the evening to a tee. Special thanks to Waylon Thorton for letting us use his song for the film. Stay tuned to asburyanchor.com and our facebook page for photos of the event and be sure to pick up this week’s triCityNews for more commentary and photos of the night.
