POST-SANDY SURFING IN LONG BRANCH

If there was any silver lining from Hurricane Sandy (and come to think of it there really was none), it was the waves she produced as the surf cleaned up in her aftermath. New York photographer Christor Lukasiewicz caught the scene in Long Branch, post-Sandy. His pictures are above and below.

Lukasiewicz is a professional photographer with 6 years of experience. After studying his craft for 4 years at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he honed his skills in product still life, portraits, landscape, action sports, and video production. Christor turned his attention to his main passion, surf photography. He has become well known for his creative eye and stunning visuals from the beaches of New York, New Jersey, and California. When the big waves hit the northeast, Christor can be found on the beaches, or in the water alongside the surfers, waiting for that magical moment when light, action, and framing all come together to make one amazing photograph.
