Winter is rough. Especially if you’re obsessed with riding motorcycles. The countdown to better weather kicks in sometime in early December and lasts until March. But every so often global warming throws us a bone. Today is that day. It’s 53 degrees as of the writing of this post and as soon as I hit submit I’m heading for the garage to get my bike. The battery has been charged. Lets hope she starts.

But when the weather all out sucks, this short film just about sums it up. It follows the dude behind Cast & Salvage, a motorcycle service and repair shop in Philadelphia, PA and pays homage to all craftspeople who spend their winters tucked inside their workshops waiting for better weather.
